Voice Recognition is when your computer will hear what you speak and respond in a predefined manner.
Some sort of microphone is required ($15 and up).
A Speaking program will actually talk to you through your system speakers.

Macro Anywhere
A Keyboard Shortcut utility that allows one to type a keyword or hotkey and have it expand into a predefined phrase. Macro Anywhere is also great for filling out common forms on web pages. It will also launch programs or web pages at the touch of a button.
Example
A Macro is a predefined set of commands that will execute when a "Hotkey" is pressed or only one command is executed. In Macro Anywhere it could work like this:
If you type ".addy"
It would turn into:

DynaBrowse
DynaBrowse is a Voice Controlled Talking
Browser. In most ways it functions as a normal browser yet almost all commands can
be spoken by the user (you). It can also read web pages or highlighted (selected) text
on web pages. DynaBrowse not only controls the browser with spoken commands, it
moves the mouse and clicks the buttons!
Voice Commands
