sparkee's BuG...
Wallpaper File Maker
BuG comes with a simple utility program for turning your gif, bmp, and jpg pictures into wallpaper files. They will be saved in the correct size for your computers current display settings. The program is called WallpaperMaker.exe and it can be launched from the "BuG - Background Utility" start menu.
The Wallpaper Maker is a 30-day trial program. It will become registered when you register BuG.
When you click on a file name it will appear to the right of these controls. In this mode if you right-click on the blue background it will toggle the program form "always on top" to normal. If you right-click in the file box it will search the clipboard to see if you placed a file there by using the copy function. You can drag and drop pictures and picture files into the file list to start editing them.
If this is the file you want to use as a wallpaper (background) file click the "Preview Wallpaper" button. The screen will be filled with a background that will look just like the one you will create (less the controls). Clicking the picture will bring it into edit mode. You can drag and drop pictures and picture files into the file list or the picture to start editing them.
If you double-click the picture it will toggle the controls between visible and invisible. The arrow buttons will move the view in that direction, provided there is more of the image to be shown. Click the picture and drag it to a new location on the screen. - If the picture is totally outside of the screen, it will not let you drag or move a boundary inside the screen. If you want a boundary inside the screen, zoom in. Then resize and edit. You can select a specific area of the image by clicking the "Select Area" button. Your mouse will then work an "area selecting rectangle". Just click in the upper left corner of where you want the picture to start, and drag to the lower right corner.
When the image looks the way you want it click the "Create Wallpaper" button. You will then be able to save under whatever name you choose.
