Clydde's House Page The experts may say not to use wood as it will absorb odors. If this proves to be a true my way of dealing with it will be to give the house a couple coats of polyurethane. However, it may take as long as a week to dry. If one can smell the polyurethane it is not dry yet and should not be used. The house is made primarily of paneling and measures: 11.5 inches wide 10 inches deep 6.5 inches high The lid lifts off. The boards attached to the bottom of it hold it in place. I may put a few 3/8" vent holes in the lid. Since Clydde is always dragging my bathroom shower mat off I chose to give him the toilet seat cover for his bedding. I wasn't using it anyway.
