From the onset the focus of this project has been ease of use.
Setting up a macro is
automatic using the Macro Recorder.
A brief tutorial will walk you through the basics.

Macro Anywhere is a very useful tool to save you typing time and energy. Simply type a keyword that you have defined and it translates it into a word, address, phrase, paragraph, or even a full document.. It can hold up to 1024 different commands. Macro Anywhere can also launch your favorite programs or web pages with function or hot keys. Macro Anywhere can even insert the current date and time into any document. Dynamic Macros will use Ctrl 0-9 keys for the creation of 10 pseudo-clipboards. It runs almost invisibly in a small icon in your system tray (next to the clock).

Perfect for those who suffer from:
Arthritis
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Muscular Dystrophy
Back Pain
Neck Pain
Elbow Pain
Laziness
or are handicapped in any of many other ways

Macro Anywhere monitors your keyboard SYSTEM WIDE! That means NO cutting and pasting.

Macro Anywhere will work in about any Windows program you can type in. Office2000, text editors, chat programs, forms on web pages (great for typing your web addresses), passwords, Emails....

Full Support for spreadsheets and program and Windows menus.

A "Pause" feature has been added allowing you to pause a macro so you can enter data.

A Timer program has been added so that you may execute up to 12 macros at given time intervals. This allows you to scroll through web sites automatically for lobby displays.

Though written in English, Macro Anywhere will work in
ANY LANGUAGE

It could work like this:
You type:
My address is:[addy

But what comes out is:
My address is:
Alan Stockman
2401 1/2 E. St. Vrain
Colo. Spgs. CO 80909
alan@dynawares.com

It's this simple to use:
Right click the program icon and click "show" to show the program window.

Type your Keyword in the top field. (I start all my keywords with a period to distinguish them from normal words.)

Type what you want to actually be typed in the field below it.
Or drag and drop programs from your desktop or Windows Explorer.

The next time you are writing a letter, email, chatting with someone... just type the keyword and it expands as soon as you hit "Enter" or "space bar".
Interesting ways it can be used:
Make a keyword "i" then make it's phrase "I[space]" This will automatically capitalize when you type the word "i".
It's great for web page addresses. Just type your keyword in the page address field of your browser; it's a lot faster than using the "favorites" menu.
Passwords- ex: "password_for_MSDN" will automatically be replaced with "lkjsdlksdfjlsj"
Macro Anywhere works miracles in IRC Chat
HTML code... type all those bulky commands you need over and over when writing a web page or similar activity.

You can also activate the popup menu by right-clicking the icon in the taskbar tray.

II. Right click on "KeyGen" and click "Delete".

New in Version 3.2: Improved non-US keyboard support
New in Version 3.1: Windows XP support
New in Version 3.0:
The way Dynamic Macros work Has been changed. If you have text selected when the control key is pressed followed by a number key that text will be placed in a dynamic macro. If no text is selected the previously recorded text will be pasted into your active window. The Alt key is no longer used.

Full Support for spreadsheets and program and Windows menus.
A "Pause" feature has been added allowing you to pause a macro so you can enter data.
A Timer program has been added so that you may execute up to 12 macros at given time intervals.

By using certain CodeWords to represent keys that don't create characters and by sending your Phrase directly to the operating system (instead of the active program window) Macro Anywhere can now be used to create Macros that will work with Popup Menus and in programs that use keys like the Arrow keys.

Most of the following CodeWords are automated. Just press the key when creating the macro and the CodeWord will be entered for you. The exceptions to this are {enter} and {back}.
CodeWords:
"{ctrl}" This will simulate a PRESS of the Control Key and hold it down until released.
"{ctrlup}" This will simulate a RELEASE of the Control Key.
"{alt}" This will simulate a PRESS of the Alt Key and hold it down until released.
"{altup}"This will simulate a RELEASE of the Alt Key.
"{shift}" This will simulate a PRESS of the Shift Key and hold it down until released.
"{shiftup}" This will simulate a RELEASE of the Alt Key.

"{pgdn}" Pagedown
"{pgup}" Pageup
"{down}" Down Arrow
"{up}" Up Arrow
"{left}" Left Arrow
"{right}" Right Arrow
"{home}"
"{end}"
"{tab}"
"{back}" BackSpace
"{enter}"
"{start}" The Windows "Start" button menu
"{menu}" The default menu for the field that has the focus
"{ins}" Insert
"{del}" Delete
"{esc}" Escape

Example:
This Macro will launch a new blank email in Outlook Express and place the curson in the Body field:
Command (KeyWord): CtrlKeyx
Macro (Phrase): {Alt}fnm{AltUp}{Tab}{Tab}{Tab}
Execution: Hold the Control Key and hit the x key.
