Important Information about Running this Program:
* For Dictating text it is important to "train" the speech recognition engine to recognize your voice. Speech recognition will improve each time you run a training session. The first several being the most important.

Tips:
* To Pause NitroMouse at any time just say "Standby" to start up again say "Computer" or "Resume".
* To dictate a document or letter just say "Take a letter.". NitroMouse with then type what you say into the Active Window (the program that is shown on your screen. You will still be able to control the mouse by using these reserved words.
* The most important commands to remember are "faster" and "slower" to temporarily control the mouse speed. You can even say them before you tell the mouse to move.
* Click the "Menu" button then "Program Options" then "Edit Custom Commands" to see what all the commands are and edit them.
* The "Begin Selection" and "End Selection" commands are also very handy for selecting text and scrolling windows.

Recently, while playing softball, I broke a bone in my right hand. This made typing and working the mouse very difficult.
I installed NitroMouse, went through one training session, added the word NitroMouse to the dictionary, and began dictating this testimonial.
I was very pleased with the ease of use and accuracy of the program.
Occasionally, an incorrect word was typed. This was easily corrected by saying "last word" and "delete". Since I have never spent much time using NitroMouse it took a while to get used to the peculiarities of how to dictate text. However, within just a few minutes I was able to compose text without touching the mouse or keyboard.

I am not using a headset microphone. Rather, I have a small, inexpensive lapel microphone mounted on my keyboard. The accuracy of my dictation is still very good and I am not encumbered by having wires strapped to my head.

NitroMouse is saving me a lot of time by giving me an alternative to typing using the "one finger" method and then having to check my spelling.

V. Though any old beat up computer microphone is fine for DynaMouse, however, a headset microphone may give you far better results when dictating text with NitroMouse.

* To determine what version of Microsoft Internet Explorer® you have, in Internet Explorer click "Help" then click "About"

** Installing "Windows Installer" again is perfectly safe and will hurt nothing. However, if you want to see if you have Windows Installer 2.0+ installed on you computer follow these steps:
I. Start Windows Explorer and open the SYSTEM32 folder (normally the path is C:\WinNT\System32 or C:\Windows\System32).
II. See if you have the file msiexec. If you do not you don't have Windows Installer 2.0. If you do, continue
III. Click on the msiexec file with your right mouse button.
IV. In the menu that appears, select 'Properties'.
V. In the Properties dialog, click on the 'Version' tab.
VI. If the file version is 2.0 or higher you have Windows Installer 2.0.

*** If you encounter problems installing the Windows Installer or the Speech Recognition Engine these steps can be skipped if you download and execute the following: speechsdk51.exe from Microsoft.
This installs a bit more than just the engine. It also installs information and code samples for the programmer to work with the engine. An extra 20 meg. You will see a new icon in your "Programs" menu, "Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1". Just ignore it unless you get curious.

These are special words known to the DynaWares' NitroMouse:
These must be spoken as a separate phrase to be recognized. Example: "move up" will cause the mouse pointer to move up. "I will move up" will type "I will move up"
